President Dr. Zoltán Bolek and Vice President Kovács Miklós Ahmed paid a visit to the Embassy of Malaysia in Budapest, where they met with embassy officials.

Topics of the Meeting

During the meeting, the educational, cultural, and social solidarity work of the Muslim community living in Hungary was discussed. We provided information about our community’s activities, our prayer rooms, and the programs we operate.

In addition, views were exchanged on getting to know one another’s communities and holding joint programs; the possibility of mutual visits and cooperation on cultural events was also discussed.

Why Is It Important?

International relations enable our community to present its work in Hungary to representatives of other countries and to build cultural bridges. Such visits lay the foundation for joint projects and cultural events.

Malaysia is a country known for its Muslim population and cultural diversity; this meeting was a valuable step toward joint cultural programs that may be organized in the future.
